OSHA 30 HOUR
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
30 Hour OSHA course offerings are intended for workers and supervisors with at least some safety responsibility and for those with a 30 Hour OSHA card that is more than three years old. Although OSHA cards do not expire, more and more job sites are requiring OSHA 30 Hour recertification every three years. All Local 212 electricians with an OSHA 30 card should consider taking an offering of OSHA 30 Hour every three years.
OSHA 30 consists of 8 parts. Parts are labeled A-H within each session and are interchangeable among sessions, but OSHA requires that all parts are taken within a six month time frame. It is the student's responsibility to be sure that all eight parts are completed in six months.
Each part will be held as scheduled as longs as three students are registered. If you register and cannot make a class, please be sure to let us know. If no one is registered for any given part two days prior, that part will be canceled. If you plan on taking any part outside of your registered session, call the JATC office at least one day before so we can let the scheduled instructor know that a student will be present.
OSHA 30 Hour is for IBEW/NECA members only.
